Windows 17

Windows 17

My daughter, SIL, and grandson went to the AAQG  show with me last fall.   I was able to see which quilts appealed to DGS, so that I could choose one to make for his high school graduation last year.

While we were looking, several caught the eye of my DD and SIL, who were in the process of re-doing their  living room and dining area.  So I decided to offer to make them a wall hanging.

It started out as a replacement for an IKEA print in the dining room, but grew bigger and has a place of honor in their living room.

The colors morphed, the size morphed, the location morphed. But it finished out as a really nice piece.

I'll be entering it into the Chisholm Trail Quilt Guild show in September.
