Dear Jane Center Block

I haven't worked on my Dear Jane quilt in over a year now. But because a group of us plan to do a "Baby Jane" for the sillent auction at the Quilt Fest in September, I got out my blocks and became re-inspired.
Today I started and completed K-7, Indianapolis.
I also started J-6, DeAnn's Daisies (or some such). My current plan is to work from the center out, as I now realize that some of my first blocks "leave a lot to be desired". Some are the wrong color. Others don't use a good fabric choice. My plan is to create new blocks, but I know that I'll probably re-make some of the ones that are bugging me.

Natalie's Bed Runner

I'm taking a class through Lifetime Learning. The topic is table runners and bed runners. In the first class, I made two "10 minute table runners". One for Easter and one for Halloween.

Then I got the suggested book and saw a perfect bed runner for my granddaughter, who's turning 13 later this month. Her bedroom in Pflugerville is done in black-and-white and hot pink, so the pattern is perfect. I've already done the base and most of the quilting. Started on the binding.

I think it'll be a hit.
