Maxine's Blue Blocks

This is a quilt that Maxine made after seeing a similar one for sale many years ago. I can't find the block in Brackman nor in Malone. So simple, but so sweet.
Gotta try it.

Sewing with Jack

Grandson Jack made some PJ bottoms yesterday with a little help from me. Flamed guitars and "Rock and Roll" on a black background. He loves it. And I love him. My heart overflows.

Birthday Flowers

My sister came over this morning to wish me a happy birthday. She brought bright daisies, astromeria, and some-other-kind-of-flower-whose-name-I-can't-remember.
I added them to the carnations that Randy and Susie had brought the other day and the astromerias I had bought.
I love fresh flowers.
The notecard is destined for Randy and Susie but I want to enjoy it a little longer.
