Art and Beauty are where you find it. I look for it in everyday life and try to create more whenever possible.

Graduation quilt
My nephew's oldest daughter, Brionna, graduated from high school this month. She had gone to 13 different schools! That's got to be hard. But she kept at it. Her intent is to join the Air Force, but I'm hoping she'll try college first. She wants to go into law enforcement, like her dad.

Can't make just one
Here's another Potato Chip Bag. This time I used two upholstery samples, given to me by my painting teacher, Elaine.
Instead of batting, I used embroidery stabilizer - I figured the bag would never be washed.
The construction happened during my trip to The Retreat House in Rockport. The flap needed a little weight, so I used one of the buttons from the jar on the mantle.
Note to self: bring more buttons to replenish the jar on your next trip.
