AAQI Quilt

This is the Quilt I made today. It's about 8 x 10 inches.

Finally named it "Orange Flower".  Just not inspired, but oh, well.

I don't have a lot blooming right now,  but my brand new rock rose has flowers almost every day and the Ligustrum flowers are sweet smelling, although not profuse.

My rattail cactus has great orange flowers and new Ice Plants have occasional fuschia ones.  The salvia in the back 40 are blooming as is the ajuga.

Gotta get a real camera.....

Poppies in Manor

My sister lives out in the country and has beautiful poppies growing here and there.




She also grows sweet peas, which have a wonderful smell.

Time to Purge

I have too many "things" that I only keep out of sentimentality. So I'm working on finding new homes for them. My dining room table is full of serving bowls - how many can I possibly need?

Some are family pieces, but some have just been acquired at estate sales or garage sales "because they're so pretty".

I'm hoping that my great nieces may take a few. Or my granddaughter.
